I don't think kids are going to be to impressed with a talking car after seeing Transformers. Those things were cars/robot/ass kicking machines.

What the world really needs is "Hannibal" "Face" "B.A. Baracus" and "Howling Mad Murdock."

We need the A-TEAM!

Isn't that what The Unit is?

Does anyone remember that TV show Street Hawk? It was like Knight Rider but with a motorcycle. I think it aired around the same time as Airwolf or Knight Rider.
