Cinema nights. Going to the movies doesn't always have to mean going to a theater, spending on parking, junk food, and the movie itself. It can mean, sitting on sofas, talking before and after the film. It's also not important to have a film on a huge screen either, a television works, we all watch shit on youtube anyway, so a TV is fine. Plus look at the beer bottles, you can't do that just anywhere.

Cinehous (that's Pryor's film deal name) presented The Double Life of Veronique. A 1991 film by the dude who made the Red White and Blue flicks. In the above shot, Pryor gave a talk about the film including why he liked it and why it's important. Although I'd pick stupid movies for my cinema nights, the arty classics have their place too.

A lot of times I prefer just staying at home
and watching movies. Because you can
just stay at home in your bathrobe and just
feel comfortable.
One of my favorite films is After Life
by Koreda Hirokazu. For some reason the
Japanese translation of the title is
Wonderful Life. This director can take
simple locations and make them look great,
and become significant, even if he uses
the same ones over and over! The basic
story is about what happens when
you die. But it's not really sad, it is just
interesting, at least I think so.
For the silly and stupid movies, I would
probably choose Romie and Michelle's High
School Reunion.
How did I miss out on that sweet night? I love Kieslowski and I love The Double Life. sniff
I have to hang out with you guys more often.
Oh, did I ask you before about this, but
I was wondering if you guys were
ever thinking of screening a film
on the bulletin board where the ugly
con poster is, but sometime in the
summer.
Favorite movies, go!
