This sign is awesome. We made it in (the list) and I know people don't read this anyway. Why 24 hours? If I parked there at 2am when everything is closed (they don't chain the driveway) why would they tow me? Also the $38 flat rate? What's that for? The towing is probably well over $150. Maybe $200. It's best to park where you're supposed to park, but this sign is a keeper.

Development. This is across the street from my house. What is that crane doing? It's a regular sized lot. Common people chill on the condo action! There's construction on both sides of my house across and the side. This morning at 7am a huge boom shook my house. It was probably the crane going erect.

The only thing I have to say is, when construction starts at 7am daily for a month and wakes me ass up, I'll bet the folks who move in will be the first to complain if I made noise at 7am or had music on after 10pm. They'll have no idea of the suffering the folks in the neighborhood sustained for them. Also I'll bet these dumbasses construction folks who park lame so only 1 car can fit instead of two will be the first to complain when I start parking bad on purpose.

Yard #1

I guess i’ve never seen a religious
institution with a bad yard, unless
it’s abandoned and no one
goes there anymore. I guess most people
pay respect to religious buidings. One
time, I don’t know exactly what,happened
but something happened to
this church and all that was left
was the steeple. It was just sitting
in this empty lot and someone
spray painted “Save” on it. I guess
they didn’t want anyone to throw it
away. It was a nice looking steeple.

The sea anenome bushes also
look like Krispy Kreme Donuts to me.
Perfectly round. Hey this is kind of off
the subject but speaking of desserts,
WTH happened to Baskin and Robbins
logo? I don’t mean to offend my dog,
but he can make a better new logo
than that! Someone got some
bad advice.

I just realized that I’ve never rated
these yards. The temple is definitely a 10.

Yard #2

The rock looks distinctly Japanese.
Where do they find these Japanese
rocks.? I guess Japanese landscapers
and gardeners have the hook-up.

Yard #3

Although it looks nice, it does seem
like the rocks are stunting the trees’
growth. How do the roots grow?
We used to have dicondra in our
front yard and although it
looked pretty, I didn’t like to sit
on it because I couldn’t tell what
was lurking underneath the
round leaves.

Yard#4

I hope they are re-doing their yard,
because that’s pretty bad. Looking
at the shadow, has anyone ever seen
you taking a picture of their house
and questioned you? The reason
I’m asking is because we used to
have this neighbor who took
Neighborhood Watch way too seriously.
Whenever he would see or hear
something suspicious on our street,
he would get his bebe gun out
and he wouldn't hesitate to shoot.
I think he killed someone’s cat and
plenty of squirrels and such, he also
had a collection of guns. We had to
warn him not to shoot the
cheerleaders who were going to
come to toilet paper our house
because my brother was a
basketball player. (just a word
of caution)

Yard #5

I think these people just don’t care
about their yard. Just like one of my
friends who bought this beautiful
house with a beautiful yard and
he just didn’t care about it.
The house got run down, the yard
became a mess. It got to the point
where even his neighbor
suggested a good gardener
that he knew. I feel sorry for
the bent over trees.

House#6

I like this duplex except for the
astro turf on the stairs. I like the
porches too. Not too much with
the yard, but at least
it is mowed.

Yard#7

From the first glance of the first
picture, I thought it looked like
Bruce Wayne’s Manor – without
the barrier that goes up and
down when he leaves and comes.
…..until I saw the other pictures.

Building #8

Yeah, it looks like whoever designed
this building didn’t take the glare
into consideration. You know,
Frank Gehry reminds me of that
story about the King who wore
no clothes. If some little boy would just
say you are a crappy designer,
maybe people would listen.

Rating : (Glare) -5

Tree#9

It looks like Bullwinkle.

Rating : 6

Tree#10

It’s hard for me to tell what this tree
looks like, it just looks like a tree
in the winter time with no leaves.
Maybe the rock is there to help it
stand up since it is leaning that way.
What are those blue and red
things at the base?

Sign#11

Is this the sign behind Taka Hair Salon
that I pretend to ignore everytime
I park there? I consider that my secret
parking place for Sawtelle.
The $38 is a weird number,
I don’t know how they come
up with these random numbers
For these car and violation fines.

Rating: 2

Development#12
Maybe we’ve talked about this
before, but it seems like all of
WLA is being redeveloped..
Culver City, The Marina, even
Venice Blvd. It seems like they
are adding more surf and boarding
stores all the way from Empanada’s
Place to the beach to attract the
younger crowd. Even my 2 star
Taco Bell got reconstructed
into a 4 star.

Rating: Inconvenince : - 10
