Santa Monica

Walking to eat breakfast, which I seldom do... I walked by this house. They probably spent tons of cash on these statues. I'm trying to figure out how it all ties together. A knight, a wizard, a pirate, croc, a girl in a bikini, a pig, cows, deer... anyone have an idea?

I can't figure out any story to make sense
of this all, but I was wondering if
all of the figurines came from the
store on Lincoln Blvd. in Santa Monica.
It always makes my head turn when
I drive by. They have these life size
figurines out in the front.

Oh yeah, Eric, this topic was posted
long ago, but I just found out that
the East San Gabriel Valley Japanese
Community Center (ESGVJCC) is
doing a fund raiser and they just
contracted the same guy Harry
Beach to deal with car donations.

The center said his wording is
is very complicated and difficult
to understand, but this is basically
how they explained he determines
his cars.

1. Occassionally if the car is in
great condition, he will try selling
retail.

2. Other cars, he sellls them per
IRS regulations, the donor is allowed
fair market, to be determined by the
donor, but only up to $500.00 If tge donor
declcares a greater amount, It must match
the actual selling price of the vehicle.
As soon as ge receives the sales
amount, the center is notified.

3. If the car doesn't run and the car has
been sitting for a while, then they
take it and sell it to a dismantler and
then Harry and the center receives
$150.00 to spit with each other.

I'm sure it is a lot more complicated
than that. But I am sure hope
Keiro, LTSC and the ESGVJCC checked
him out thoughroughly. That would be
completed messes up if he taking
advantage of all three

I don't know if you knew this already
or not. But this is what's happening
on the East Side.

Sorry, I got particularly sloppy
in my spelling at the end. I think
I went straight to publish
instead of preview.
