Paper Cutting Workshop by Ryohei Tanaka

Sunday, November 17, 3-5 PM

Giant Robot is proud to bring you a workshop with Ryohei Tanaka. Learn some of his tricks to cutting paper and creating beautiful designs. Bring a pair of scissors just in case we don’t have enough. This should be fun and watch your fingers! Afterwards, Ryohei will be cutting portraits for a mere $10. They come out great.

Post It Show 9

Reception & Sale: December 7, 6-10 PM

Giant Robot is proud to present Post It Show 9. In 2012, Giant Robot 2 with the curatorial efforts of Mark Todd and Esther Pearl Watson, brought in over 250 artists and 2500 works of art. 2013 should be no different. We’ll be updating the artist list shortly, and it’ll impress as much as in the past.

An interview with Sam Coomes of Quasi

Like The Beatles on steroids with out-of-this world hooks, free-associating lyrics, and crazy dynamics, Quasi is never less than totally melodic while somehow never leaving the red zone of the Rock-O-Meter.
