Make Your Teeth Crooked in Japan on Purpose

It’s been said that crooked teeth are a favorable trait. It’s cute. When the canines are way off and too high, or everything looks like shards of porcelain, it’s even better. This isn’t new, it’s partially the reason why braces aren’t as popular or a necessity as compared to most other places in the world. There’s now a “grill” that you can be inserted, it makes teeth look crooked. It’s something done at a dentists office and not at home. (cnngo - teeth worsening)

There’s also a crooked teeth blog in Japan - Yaebasuperstar. Yaeba means crooked teeth. The site reports that actress Erika Sawajiri (below), expressed that she isn’t ever fixing her crooked t00th.
