Return of the Hot Pot Girls
Exhibition of Art by Katsuya Terada

A year has passed since we hosted Hot Pot Girls by Katsuya Terada. Aside from his status as the "Doodle King," he practically holds, "legendary" status in Japan. While his audience for original art grows, his constant effort into work shows. He'll pursue a part II of his Hot Pot Girls series. We'll make an assumption that he hasn't had enough of the series. 2014 also marks his 30th year in illustration.

We're hosting Terada in a series of events:

Game Night: USC - Play Aegis Defenders (GUTS Department, Anamnesis (Somek Friends), Walden (Tracy Fullerton) + Panel Discussion with Richard Lemarchand, Associate Professor USC Cinematic Arts

We'll be expanding game night to include a panel discussion with our special guests from USC's "game department", School of Cinematic Arts - Game Innovation Lab.

Beau Sia - New Writings and Vintage Tales - SESSION TWO
Wednesday, November 5, 7 pm


Come gather as Beau Sia will read from "The Undisputed Greatest Writer of All Time" as well as new poems from his upcoming book, "Fuck Me". This reading might not be suitable for kids. We will be hosting Beau Sia on a monthly basis while he works out his past and reaches out to his future.

Beau Sia is a Tony Award winning poet and world-renowned performer, featured on all 6 seasons of Russell Simmons Presents Def Poetry and the winner of two National Poetry Slam championships. He is the author of the poetry books A Night Without Armor II: The Revenge and The Undisputed Greatest Writer Of All Time. As an educator, he has been mentoring youth for organizations such as Youthspeaks, Urban Word, and GetLit. Beau currently lives in Los Angeles, where he is working on his first solo play.Purchase a signed copy of his latest book online.
