Catch this eclectic mix of styles from four favorites. Maggie Chiang is a recent Art Center graduate whose illustration style is catching views with her editorial work. Her exhibition work is always dreamy and peaceful. Jeni Yang is a long time favorite at GR2. Her work captures illustrative narratives that often include cats, desserts, in hand made wooden frames. Huntz Liu creates geometric systems cut into layers of paper. The designs are pure, beautiful, and abstract. They capture texture as well as color via the varying levels of the depth. Finally, Darren and Trisha Inouye create colorful paintings which include their round characters often in playful situations. Their work is whimsical and thought provoking.
