Giant Robot Store and GR2 News

The chase went for a long while up to speeds of 100mph and the cop didn’t let go. How did he end up there? I dig these narrations from the other side of the world by a person who only has a serious third person perspective. Is it the narrators voice or accent that makes you forget that you can do this yourself at home? Did you know that some people call a hood of a car a “bonnet”? It’s also possible that it could all be a hoax or highly exaggerated. Is this called “planking”?

Life is a mashup of almost anything. Mixing foods, entertainment and now technology is just a phase. Who would want this vehicle? Is it for a person who can’t push regular size buttons? It’s Toyota, and I’m sure they paid dearly for this. It does have imagery that can fill it’s body, which is neat for a second, but in the end, it’s just a fangled idea. Rather than marvel at how they mashed an iPhone and a car, why not do what we did and take an old console concept and turn that into a car. Yes, it’s yet another mashup, but at least it makes more sense. (itproportal - Concept)

This is car that’s been on the minds of car enthusiasts for a while. It didn’t help that Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift made drifting or at least the idea of it commercial. This car is the rebirth of it. It’s the GT86. The deal? It’s rear wheel drive and it’s the rebirth of the AE86 – the original drift car. For those who care, this is monumental, but those of you who don’t, just remember this car is a rebirth of a legend from 83-87. (ultimatecarpage – Toyota GT 86)

Digging the two word title? Pixis Space. Obviously it has a tech pixel type of name, and a second word to signify that it’s tiny again? Space. The name is interesting since in Japanese, it’ll be a strange two word mouthful. It’s a tiny car. 660cc engine, so we’re talking just above a go kart, but this is the latest addition to Toyota’s fleet of vehicles and it’s probably going to be popular in the crowded streets of Japan. There’s no need for speed and not everyone will be drifting… Will this be the following Scion car? Is this coming in two years or so, or will this be the next Daihatsu truck that you see cruising around college campuses with custodial gear in the back.
