Giant Robot is proud to present Katsuya Terada – LIVE DIGITAL Demo, Signing and Print Release Sunday October 20th 3pm at Giant Robot 2 Katsuya Terada will be showing original works at Giant Robot 2 for his exhibition of Hot Pot Girls. Yet on Sunday, he’ll demonstrate his work with the tablet. Projected on screen, you’ll be able to see how Terada develops his imagery from beginning to end. Feel free to ask questions while he’s drawing. We’ll have a translator present. Katsuya Terada will also sign books and we’ll have an exclusive 5×7 size print available for sale on Sunday. That’s Jeni Yang, Giant Robot Drawing Club guest who actually made cookies for the event. GR Drawing Club opened at 6pm and continued late into the night. We’ll be announcing the next GRXDC event soon, and everyone of any age is welcome. We hosted children through adults. The idea is to just sit and draw without pressure and in a comfortable environment. We played music – this time, mostly 60s and 70s rock, yes, bring a record, and we’ll play it. We expected a tiny group but ended up setting up three tables! Great job, everyone. Cam Floyd and Niv Bavarsky just showed up! [nggallery id=17]

At Giant Robot 2 on May 28th, Saturday starting at 6pm until everyone gets tired, join us and come and draw. No pressure, just draw for fun. We’ll have special Guest Jeni Yang who’s currently showing along with Jesse Fillingham. We’ll draw, pass around pages, and keep drawing and see what happens. It’s BYOB if you want, but we’ll have tables and some chairs. Stop in, shop, and draw.
