Taiwan-based EVA Air and toymaker Sanrio have joined paws and sent an adorable  fleet of three Hello Kitty-themed Airbus 330-300s to do battle against their many competitors in the short-route airline wars in East Asia, flying routes between cities such as Taipei, Fukuoka, Tokyo (Narita), Sapporo, Incheon, Hong Kong and Guam.  EVA spokespersons were quick, however,  to quell rumors that pilots of these aircraft would be dressed as Pikachu.   Did you know Hello Kitty is British? Could be according to many fans. In a recent book, Hello Kitty’s Guide to Japan in English and Japanese, it’s surmised from clues that Hello Kitty is from the land of Austin Powers, James Bond, and Benny Hill. The story explain Kitty as if she’s living abroad in Japan and she’s introducing Japanese culture to her boyfriend Daniel. For many, this is blasphemous. How can this be? Hello Kitty is definitely Japanese, right? In the end, there is no final answer regardless of what the book says. This is getting strange. Imagine Hello Kitty has a profile? Not a story or past or likes and dislikes, but an actual profile. This is what Hello Kitty looks like when it’s facing forward in a profile. There’s no nose, it’s eye has a lash and although it’s called Hellosmile, there no mouth. This is actually a project to put out the word on cervical cancer. So basically, the name, the new logo, the jet and the actual reason is makes little sense. A smile is always nice, but it’s actual tie in, not quite fitting. The plane’s route is a simple one as it’s going from Haneda to Sapporo at this time. You most likely won’t see it.
