He didn’t die from enemy fire. He supposedly killed himself in a guard tower in Afghanistan. It’s another result of hazing in the military. It’s hopefully isolated, yet hazing happens everywhere, from sports to college organizations to the military. This one probably went too far. It’s not exciting news except some form of justice is being served. Hopefully it’s completely fair. This echoes marching band member, Robert Champion’s death at Southwest DeKalb High School as a result of hazing. (NY Times – Danny Chen)
