Giant Robot 51.5 Audio Supplement

Giant Robot 51 is hitting the stands everywhere, and is already available at the GR shops. Not so easy to find is a J Church/Cringer mix CD that goes with it, created in conjunction with an article about our late friend, Lance Hahn. An edition of 13 CD-Rs was made for the GR magazine crew and to play in the GR stores (with one more being sent to to Austin).


The thing about music is that you can't really convey it through writing. And most of the bands we write about in GR go unheard by readers. Most likely, you won't buy a record or go to a show. You probably won't seek out online samples, either.


Lance was not only a good friend but a musical hero of mine--someone whose music really affected me. I wanted to share his songs with my friends as well as GR readers who may be at the shops. Perhaps this disc will help that cause. (If you blow up the final image, you should be able to tell which records the songs were culled from...)
