Just desserts

Last night, my wife's cousin Linda dropped by with some goodies from Jin's Patisserie in Venice. Above, macaroons. Definitely not the common coconut ones, these colorful sandwiches had a layer of sweetness in the centers. Below, an assortment of impossibly light snacks practically floating off the cardboard.
