NLDS1 - Dodgers 5, Cardinals 3

Went to the first game of the NLDS between the Dodgers and St. Louis tonight. Although the Blue Crew had the NL's best record, all the press and experts favored the Red Birds. I attribute it to the East Coast bias.

We got to our seats with a couple minutes to spare. Luckily, we had food with us so we could pay attention to the game and not wait in line. Greg picked up Vietnamese sandwiches on the drive up from San Diego.

You know it's a big game when the blimp shows up.

Wendy and I had the number-one fan sitting directly in front of us. He loves the Dodgers and The Simpsons. How awesome is that?

There was one St. Louis fan in our section who somehow endeared himself to the vatos and didn't get beat up. But seriously those who choose to dress up in the visiting team's gear should really get more expensive seats where they won't get harassed.

I took this right after Broxton got the save--almost four hours after the first pitch. I never get sick of hearing "I Love L.A." after a game.

Greg and Eric among the masses leaving the stadium. See you back there at 3:00 tomorrow afternoon...

Oh Martin, the broadcast on TBS was horrible~
But Dodgers won!!!
Need two more!
Can't beat Vin, Charlie, and Rick...
