Random non-HIFF pics

Over our week in Hawaii, we only missed one morning at the beach. Eloise still won't walk in the sand but she likes being held in the waves. (Although I wish I could say that was post-surf drip, she just sneezed.)


We finally made it to Leonard's in person and got to try fresh, warm, li hing malasadas... Amazing.


You can't really tell, but in the background is a pretty good organic cafe with vegetarian options located in a Waikiki food court.

Wendy and her parents dig into North Shore shrimp at a truck. We didn't make it to Giovanni's due to time constraints--had to get back for the HIFF Governor's Ball--but they still dug it. (Eloise and I had ate corn on the cob.)


Finally caught up with Jun Jo at the Aloha Army shop in Waikiki. Buy yourself some gear from In4mation and other local brands and bring home some Menehune chocolates for your friends.


When I was at Dole watching Petition, My Auntie Lucille took Wendy, my in-laws, and Eloise on a hike to a lighthouse.


Okay, this is a HIFF pic, but Ana needs to be blogged somewhere. She wrote, produced, directed, edited and pretty much made an indie flick about Pinoy treasure hunters called 24K. Damn!
