Eve of destruction

When the GR show opened at JANM, it seemed like it would go on forever. Now there's only one week to go. Great that my friend Jeff happens to be visiting from Hawaii just in time to catch it.


Jeff is a longtime friend and contributor to GR. He's also the best host ever--not to mention kick-ass skateboarder and photographer. You might recall his pictures from the shave ice or cracked seed factory articles.


So great to soak in all the artwork, photography, and videogames in this context one more time. Lots of other people had the same idea on a rainy Sunday... including Eloise (below).


Even for a firefighter like Jeff, it's hard to look tough while having afternoon tea... But we did it anyway at the teahouse behind the museum. Nice.


The art show closes next weekend, so there's a closing party on Thursday, January 21 from 5:00-9:00. Many artists will be in attendance, food and beverages will be served, and hard-rocking friends of GR The Binges will be playing a special set.
