Have fun over there Jack! Don't get fat!

angoraphobia
10-09-2002, 08:42 AM
how do you feel jack? i mean about being there....what kind of feeling do you get from your surroundings?

Jack
10-15-2002, 08:15 PM
It's very hot and the surroundings are very dusty. It's tough getting used to the open drains along the sides of the road.

Going to Singapore on Sunday. Back on Tuesday.

Mom goes home on Wednesday.

I have an odd urge to buy X-Rated VCDs simply because I can.

From what I've seen so far, Malaysia is ghetto.

It feels kinda weird.

I'm very annoyed about clothes, because I never see anything nice. Girls get all the nice clothes!

I hate wearing sandals everywhere. I feel stupid exposing my toes for the entire world to see.

kid_robotron
10-15-2002, 08:40 PM
You need to represent and wear some nice black socks with those sandals then.

Jack
10-15-2002, 08:44 PM
Can't, the sandals I have are faux-leather with a broad band around the foot connected to a broad loop around the big toe.

They were the only shoes in the shop my size.

nikel
10-15-2002, 08:45 PM
how's the food?

Jack
10-15-2002, 11:12 PM
It's okay.

After I stopped eating at with my Grandmother, it took a turn up.

She had the mentality that if it's cheap, it's good.

Fortunately I won't have to put up with that for a while.

Jack
10-16-2002, 08:12 AM
p.s. I ate Durian today.

It's fsckin' weird.

angoraphobia
10-16-2002, 04:48 PM
did you actually EAT it....or just taste it then quickly spit it out of your mouth?

Jack
10-23-2002, 08:19 PM
No way, I totally ATE it. Durian tastes nice but the texture is hard to get your head round.

I ate Pho. At least, I think it was Pho.......

Damn Vietnamese restaraunts confused me.

angoraphobia
10-23-2002, 08:21 PM
where are you now?

Jack
10-23-2002, 08:55 PM
still PJ.

Jack
10-23-2002, 11:07 PM
And now I'm depressed by Women.

God, I hate being depressed by the same thing over and over and over.

Jack
10-23-2002, 11:17 PM
Oh, also about the fact that I'll have to get a prostate check eventually, and am torn......

Would I be more comfortable with another man checking my prostate, especially if this man was an old family friend and trusted physician for many years......

Or with a woman doctor?

ack.

Oh well, at least I don't have to stress too much over the male Birth Control Pill. Yet.

Double Ack.

angoraphobia
10-24-2002, 06:22 AM
ew...that would seem so uncomfortable! i'd go for old man doctor if i had a prostate...what if the woman is really hot and you get all.....you know...excited in that area? wouldnt that be embarassing?

Jack
10-25-2002, 12:59 AM
Perhaps, but the Prostate is often referred to as the "Male G-Spot" which, when stimulated, has been known to have....Remarkable effects.....On the "Libido"

so is it worse to pop a stiffy with a woman's finger up your ass or with a man's finger up your ass.

Think about it.

Jack
10-25-2002, 01:19 AM
Oh, Today I went to Isetan and bought Pokari Sweat!

I need Iso drinks for when I go to the gym ^_^

Oh, I joined a gym.

And yesterday I bought Basketball sneakers.
I wanted cross-training sneakers, but they only had my size in Basketballs sneakers.

Next week I'm starting Tae Kwan Dough for a few weeks.

Jack
10-26-2002, 11:52 PM
Anyway, enough about that. On Friday night I went out to a nightclub in KL (Can't remember the name - Blink, do you know a place opposite the Shang-Ri-La? It's got a kinda French sounding name?) for one of his friends' birthday. They bought a bottle of Chevas Regal.

I only got a little drunk. I mean, I only had 4!

Well, 5.

Anyway, I could still walk and I didn't throw up!

I'm currently reading "The Picture of Dorian Gray"

I love the feeling you get when you go to a nightclub and you FEEL the music going through your body.

I love the way girls dress here!

and next week I'm going to get a copy of the live-action GTO drama to watch! Wheeeeeeee!

Jack
10-27-2002, 01:27 AM
Oh, I just remembered, the club's name was Nuovo!

angoraphobia
10-27-2002, 07:38 AM
how do the girls dress there?

10-27-2002, 04:00 PM
damn, jack, it sounds like you are having a good time. except for the prostate check. good luck with that.

Jack
10-28-2002, 04:30 AM
Girls dress like they're going to a nightclub. ALL THE TIME!
What's more, since it's so hot, they dress that way ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT! No need for a coat! Or jacket! YESSS!

Well, at least the non-Malay (or even non-Muslim) girls do.

p.s. am not actually GETTING a prostate check yet, I was just reading about the procedure and feeling a bit.......SCARED SHITLESS by it.

Jack
10-28-2002, 04:37 AM
Oh! Today I bought Stephen Chow movies! "God of Cooking", "All For The Winner", "God of Gamblers 2" and also, "Fist of Fury 1991" and "Legend of the Dragon" but since the last 2 didn't have English Subtitles, I'm leaving them with my cousin ^_^

I also bought Jet Li's "Bodyguard from Beijing" but the second disk was crap. I wouldn't mind so much if it was a fake, but it was a fsckin' original, so I'm going to take it back soon and make sure Speedy Video replace it.

Jack
10-28-2002, 09:16 PM
I took "Bodyguard From Beijing" back to Speedy, but they didn't have another copy, so I exchanged it for "From Beijing With Love"

damn that Stephen Chow rocks.

I went to the gym this morning. It feels like burning.

Jack
10-30-2002, 02:34 AM
I went to Tae Kwan Doe last night.

So now I know how to punch! In 2 different ways of standing!

This morning my body real ached. My cousin wanted us to go to the gym at 9am but when he woke me up he saw how much I hurted and so we didn't. my po-po came to pick me up at 10:45 to go and eat Nasi Biriyani at a hawker stall in KL. It was quite nice. I feel kind of weird because that was my kung-kung's favourite place to eat, and my po-po etc. haven't been there since he died (the best part of 10 years ago)

The food was alright, not very spicy, but the hawker stall straddled a drain, so the experience was mildly marred by this. Spent the rest of the day chillin'. Am going out for Satay later.

Jack
10-30-2002, 11:31 PM
Thank your Randall ^_^

ate the best part of 50 Satay sticks. Couldn't shit or sleep ALL NIGHT. I finally caught a few winks after my aunt's alarm clock went off at about 6am. I slept until 10, then my cousin and I went to the gym. I had a Thai Red Bull to wake up. It tastes like medicine but makes my head twitch so that's good.

Was so fatigued at the gym that I only did 6 machines - about 12 exercises at 10 reps each. I am slowly improving.

Tae Kwan Doe tonight. I wonder how much more shouting and punching their will be before I begin to do other stuff.

I think I look kinda cute in the uniform. I bet it'll go great with the Shinai I have at home!

This morning I bought "Fight Back To School", "Skyline Cruisers" and "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back"

Speedy Video told me that they had a copy of "Bodyguard from Beijing" in. When I tested it, it was the exact same copy I had just returned! I ought to go down there and started chopping off fingers. Or, I would, if the staff wasn't just 2 girls.

Blah.

Jack
10-31-2002, 10:04 PM
I didn't go to Tae Kwan Doe last night. I fell asleep -_-;;

Nobody wanted to celebrate Halloween. I guess I'll have to wait until my birthday.

Went with my aunt to see a Craft Complex. So many kweilo's, so little time. Then we went to have Chicken Rice, but the place didn't have any. So we had pizza instead.

Today I think I will go down to Speedy Video mildly annoyed. I hate it when people try to trick me.

I might buy Sen No Chihiro. It's like, 13 for 10 cents.

today I bought a, wait for it.......

Katungou KDO III Fly and Mosguito Killing Bat.

It looks like a small, plasticy, metal-stringed tennis racket. I hope it lasts long enough for me to hit bugs with it.

Jack
11-02-2002, 03:33 AM
Went to Sasaki Japanese Buffet restaraunt. Pigged out on sushi and tempura. And ate lots of ice cream ^_^

Went to central market and someone was selling a shoddy sword-cane at exorbitant price. 200 dollars?

saw interesting Tanto. Must return for better look.

hope all is well.

11-02-2002, 06:54 AM
its interesting reading about what you are doing...! man ,you make me so jealous with all ur talk of eating 50 satay sticks and stuff...

Jack
11-03-2002, 10:29 PM
It wasn't ALL 50.

I just wasn't paying attention, and I know it was 50 sticks between 3/4 people, but I ate most of them -_-;;

Yesterday I ate at Mdm. Kwans' in Bangsar.
Not bad.

and I bought the 4th remix DDR soundtrack ^_^

Oh, and I did archery.

Jack
11-05-2002, 10:39 PM
Went to Tae Kwan Doe last night.

it's Deepavali, so their were only 3 of us in the class (5 including the instructors)

I learned Walking Stance.

and only pulled 2 mucles in the shoulder, and 1 in the stomach!

I'll be here until Christmas. Which means all my relatives get whacky Malay Christmas gifts!

Today I went to the gym, then inadvertantly ended up going to see "Mr Deeds" with 2 of the girls from the gym, Larissa and Marie.
It was fun ^_^

They were especially good humoured when I pinched their butts and made leud offers. But it was all in good fun ^_^

Tomorrow will be Friday. I will be..........Going to the gym.
After that, who knows?

I'm not buff.......

when's the picture deadline? I don't know how long it'll be until I can finish the film in my camera and get it developed.........

And even then I don't have a scanner with me.

BUT I will TRY to get a decent picture going, K?

Was at a bar last night. Only for an hour or two. My escort was very nice and very accomodating.

I was really only at the bar to see if it was suitable for my birthday celebration tomorrow night. I'm very satisfied that it will be.

No photos yet. But I will try to get one soon, okay?

No pics yet. My (old) Olympus Shoot&Go is a great camera, but it's not a polaroid, so I don't get the photoes developed until I finish a roll of film. Anyways, I don't take a lot of photos. I mean, I don't take photos of myself, there's noone in particular for me to take photos with, and I don't like to take tourist-y photos.

So I don't take a lot of photos. I think the half-used roll of film I ripped out of my camera before I came had been in there for about a year at least -_-;;

reading this thread is bringing back mad memories of my own adventures in the motherland. so you still in the kingdom of roti canai and milo drinking? if so, you must try mee rebus, lahhhh! your taste buds will love you.

i had the same problems with clothes. midget malaysians. everything is too small. i bought a pair of bata slippers. the broke after a couple of weeks and the whole time my toes were hanging over the side.

oh yeah.. and happy b-day.

Jack
11-09-2002, 09:56 PM
I upgraded from my sandals to a pair of RM 400 Reeboks.

They feel Bling.

I don't eat much Roti Canai, I try to avoid eating out too much. Just the occasional Mee, Western food, or Economy Rice.

The clothes aren't so much of a problem. Shirts are easy, and as long as I get the girth in a pair of short pants, it's no biggie. I can even buy long pants, as long as I don't mind purposefully looking for a Long length.

Tonight is the Big Birthday Celebration Thing. I hope my escort is nice ^_^

I don't drink Tiger. It's too "Soft", you know? It's a little weak for my taste, you dig?

I don't like to eat out too much, because the Coffee Shops scare the bejeesus out of me, I don't know what to order.
I don't eat alone anywhere.
Generally I don't eat much during the day, so I wake up, maybe have a Limau Ais at the local Lotus, hit the gym, grab a 100+, then back to the house. I'm generally not hungry until the evening, in which case it's time for dinner. And if I'm hungry after that, I go out for supper with some folks, dig?

I think my alcohol tolerance is too scary for a lot of the folks I've met. Face it, when the Escort says that've had a lot to drink, and you're still able to do all the "Sober" things, it's a pretty scary thing, y'know?

Jack
11-12-2002, 06:01 AM
Tomorrow, I'll be alone for lunch.

probably I'll spot a 50 from the ATM after gym, pick up a Chow Shing Shi movie at Speedy, then Ta Pao some KFC home.

What can I say? Anywhere else might mean I have to open my mouth, and that's the 1 thing I try to avoid at all costs.

why? Because to look at me, I'm a Kweilo. To see my face, I'm a Kweilo. To HEAR ME SPEAK makes damn sure I'm a Kweilo.

and this ain't a Tourist town, not everyone speaks enough English to carry an order.

Plus, I miss KFC.

Now, I understand a minority of people felt it funny that I went to an escort bar instead of going to a regular bar on my birthday. Their is a simple reason for this.....

Here we see an example of languages a Bar Girl is more likely to follow.....

(Bahasa Malaysia, possibly Cantonese, Mandarin, potential for Pidgin English)

At least with an escort girl, I can specify an English-speaking girl.

although i like the fatty greasyness of KFC i can no longer eat it. those mutant chookies pumped with hormones will make you grow man-boobies and cause your pubic hairs too fall out.

hairy bitch tits and no pubes is not cool, and i am concerned about the poor treatment of chooks. i think cattle live much more richer fulfilling lives just grazing on daisys in the splender of luscious green meadows.

im in sunny sydney, australia. so very far from houston, but just a microcosmic distance in the universal scheme of things.

in my locality we have a large Indonesian community and much of the food is similar so my taste buds do relish in that most copiously. if you are ever in the area, do drop by and i might introduce you to some delightful Javanese eating place.

It would be most splendid.. indeed.

Actually I've never been to Australia. I regret not ever going when I was living in Indonesia. It's much closer to Indonesia to the States! My friends have been to both Perth and Sydney though... anyways, getting a bit off the topic..!

Even though Indonesian food is very similar to Malaysian food, I think Malaysian is better. I don't like indonesian nasi goreng. They put tomato ketchup in it! ugh.
