TWIN SNAKES is what will be released on the GC which is basically mgs 1 redone with the mgs 2 engine

Metal Gear Acid is going to be on the PSP, Sony's next-gen handheld system.

i finich game three day ago.

i loved that ending.

if you kill the bosses with your mk22 you get their special camos.
i was only able to get the fury's, the boss's, the fear's, and i think i got someone elses but i forget, oph yeah the sorrows.
and raiden's sneaking suit nukkahs!

WTF is up with this game? The first two hours of it is almost all cutscenes and dialogue. Does the gameplay get any better or is it like this throughout the whole game?

I don't have the attention span or the determination neccessary to play MGS. I get to a point where I am stuck and I give up. It's the same way with GTA.

I already mini-gave up when I died trying to sneak past the guards in the very beginning. Maybe I'll put it on again in a couple days.

This one is turning out to be way better than Sons of Liberty. Less chat, more action. And the boss battles are clever-- Except for "The Fury", he was easy to kill. However, I gotta say the camera angles still suck. I hope Konami improves it for MGS4.

This might be an easter egg, but not too sure... When you're in the weapons lab tracking down the general to steal his clothes, look directly at him in first person view and he will tell you that you are beautiful. You have to be wearing the Raiden mask and the lab coat when you do this, and you have to wait a couple of seconds til he says it.

this game is great...harder than the first two..i find myself trying to sneak around but end up giving up and just going in for the kill..

i have one question..im still early on and i have the .45 that eva gave me.. now i cant even remember if it came with a silencer cuz right nwo it doesnt have one and i have no idea how to equip it if i have it..it says to press circle but im not sure when to do that?

I'm at the same place in the game that you are. Your gun should have a silencer. Before the fight with the Ocelot squad, I unequiped mine to make it last longer. To equip the silencer:
Hold down the right shoulder button used to toggle through your weapon selections.
Toggle through the weapons until you get to the .45
Hold down the circle button while still holding down the right shoulder button.

You should hear a click sound, and the picture of the gun will change (it will show the silencer and the silencer gauge).

I'm playing on Extreme mode and Volgin is just kicking my ass. It's a riot when you put on the Raiden camo. Volgin turns into a big blubbering homo.

This game really rocks. I just beat it a second time using only stamina kills. For a few bosses it actually seemed easier. I wish there was some kind of payoff for doing so apart from the camos.

I was definitely a little dissapointed with the end of the game. I think the next MGS will be another prequel. If EVA dies you get a "Time Paradox" so I think we'll see her again.

I'm playing MGS2 again because I couldn't remember what happened in it. Your character movements are a lot faster but I miss CQC.

i just beat this game. initially it was frustrating with the lack of radar from the previous games. i was so caught up in getting seen and having to deal with the enemies that i didnt realize that it was still fairly easy to deal with them. cqc the ones that are close, then snipe the ones that were further away. id be laughing cuz the soldiers would literally be piling up.

Have you done the "Snake's Nightmare" bit? If you save while in jail she tells you some vampire crap and when you resume you play this weird Vampire/werewolf? minigame. Afterwards if you talk to Sigint he tells you about some a nightmare he had about a "giant turd" and turned his friends to shit (seriously).

Some of Sigint's factiods on weapons and camo are kind of interesting.
