I haven't climb much since I became a DAD (I'm that old!!) about 4 yrs ago.

Go kart racing, B. I had more fun in a moving vehicle than I've ever had in my life today. I went to 'Malibu Speed Zone' or something like that. It was so cool I'm still re-living the cornering in my head.

it was kinda far, but more than worth the trip.

I played on the slick track, whish was cool, but I got bored with it pretty fast. The other track they had hat was open was this grippy little track with really fast cars. That was what I should've spent my time on.

The first race on the good track was better than any of the slick track races, but the second time I raced on the grip track I schooled literally everyone there. That sounds egotistical as hell, but I played all the numbers and did all the text book shit and passed people like they were standing still.

Power slides, cornering at full throttle with or without people next to you, spinning out and recovering effortlessly. That shit was incredible. I want to start checking out more go cart places.

I really want to find out about a paid competition. I'll get my ass kicked by people who will spin me, but I don't care. It's fun as hell. I didn't even mind the faint taste of gas and oil on my breath (I was on people's asses like you wouldn't believe). I wanna do this more.

i put my resume on monster.com last night and was woken up by a phone call from one of the companies that i applied to. the getting woke up kinda sucked, especially since my alarm went off as soon as i got done talking to the guy, but the job sounds cool!!
no more stupid members all up in my grill with their stank breath. no more hassle from the man about my tongue ring. no more worries about what i'm going to do once school starts, because the guy said that the job is student friendly and that i can work whatever days i want, as long as i work at least twenty hours a week. On Thursday and Friday I went to a focus and testing style
research group thingy and got paid a grip of money for
sitting around and telling people that I liked or disliked
shit. It was cool becuase I didn't have to spend a cent -
they gave me free breakfasts with freshly squeezed O.J. and
genuinely ripe cantaloupe. This was, after all, in
the Irvine Marriot. And lunches with fruit, sandwiches,
chips, any soda we wanted (I chose water) and a cookie. I
got $230 bals for that. It was pretty dope.

On Saturday I went to my first wedding of a friend. His
wife is pregnant and thy're keepingn it. It's very surreal.
Still, he's marrying material more than dating material. At
the wedding I also ran into my first girlfriend, which was
also surreal. I hung out with many old friends and we
decided that my nick name would be "Ian-Peein'." I forgot
how cool Tim is.

After the reception I found out that Mr. Tim (the newly
wed) was being taken to Disneyland by his new wife. She
offered to take me and my old squeeze along. Narurally I
accepted - I have this thing about spontaneity.

On the same note my ex, Poopy-Teshy-Head, and I went to get
a drink on my old hangout - 2nd street. I still know every
square inch of that street, but it's different when you're
old enough to go into those old bars.

We went into Legends and sot the shit for an hour and a
half. It was fun. I like not having anything to do but talk
about random crap. Afterward we went to the beach (no this
isn't going where some of you think it's going - she has
aboyfriend), which is cool because it's four or five blocks
away. Once we decided that we were tired and wanted sleep
we went home and I pulled up some couch and had a rather
nice sleep.

When we woke up we had some tea and toast and went to
Disneyland. Well, first we went tosome buffet where many
character came up and talked to us. Poopy-Teshy-Head got
hit on by the Mad Hatter. Alice (of Wonderland) touched me
a little more than I'd have liked and Pluto kissed Heather
(Tim's new wife). Tim performed a scene from Deliverence
with Baloo.

We went to the park and the first 5 hours sucked except for
the new ride with the loop. Heather didn't go on the ride,
but watched as we stopped for no appearent reason before a
long empty track. She was only twenty feet away so when she
yelled, "How do you like it?" I replied, "This ride isn't
very much fuUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA *inhale*
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" as I rocketed to 30-40 mph from
a standstill. It was pretty cool.

near the end of the night Poopy-Teshy-Head and I decided to
effectively ditch Tim and Heather in favor of roller
coasters. They wanted to watch Fantasmic and the Fireworks,
but that's the best time to go on rides. So we got on the
Tea Cups with no wait, Space Mountain twice. When we went
on Space Mountain the operator in the booth 10-15 feet
above eye level just before the ride starts was pretending
to be animatronic so I did the same thing. The second time
we went I got Teshy-Poopy-Head to do the same and the guy
busted out with crazy robot moves. We still had time to go
on Star Tours before going back to watch the Fireworks.

The ending to the Fireworks sucked - "all you have to do is
believe" smacks of religious connotations. After that we
went on the Haunted House, Matterhorn and Space Mountain a
couple more times and went home.

All in all I had a great weekend.

Oh yeah - and I got a ninja key chain. A little Lego one
with angry eyes. I omly spent $16 at Disneyland. I rule.

I also cut off Owen Wilson on Monday. He did a Chinese fire
drill with some woman in traffic and speed off. I was
behind him and decided to cut him off (like the infantile
little boy I am).

My tags got stolen and I was tailed by a cop the same day.
I passed him at 6 miles and hour faster than he was going
and he didn't do a damned thing. I think it's because I'm a
white boy in a late model Civic. I'm invisible. Maybe I
should rob a bank. Oh wait - I tried that. It didn't work.
