OK, here's how it will go down:
I will burn a CD full of all my favorite MP3s, decorate it with nifty artwork and send it to the first person who posts below me. Then that person makes me a CD full of all their favorite MP3s (artwork is optional but encouraged) and will send it to me. Repeat repeat repeat...

Sound fun?

not much...like 1-2 dollars in Canada....just put the cd in a sleeve and put a little note and drop it into a larger envelope. done!

I was (-) this close to starting a new thread too...

I'm imagining trading whatever we have laying around (Cds and tapes) in addition to vaunted MIX CDs and Tapes. Whatever we want! Yeah!

Trade addresses with whoever ya' like, of course...

I can duplicate CDs a this moment, but have no mixing/burning capability YET. But I will rememdy that when I can stomach the eBay experience once again...

I'm still lagging on buying a CD burner for my old mac here. But I will consider the cost of mailing a CD pretty much anywhere. I love exotic mail. (Not "exotic males..." ;)

i think this is a really good idea but i'm not all that eclectic musically... i don't listen to rap or hip-hop or most dance music... (i've really tried!) and the only music i have is basically alternative-pop-indie-new wave-80s-type music! so, i'll be willing to trade if anyone has similar tastes...

um, i just sorta said that i wanted to trade w/ someone that had similar musical tastes... i think lotto felt bad for me & therefore agreed to trade w/ me :D
or if you see a mix that you like, i guess you can ask for it w/ the promise to send 1 back in return?

You know, I love this thread's idea and all, but it's a lot more feasible in time (and money) to just throw a bunch of mp3s in a RAR or ZIP up onto MegaUpload or Rapidshare...

That said, send me stuff. =3

a) I like this way better. It's actually like *trading* stuff.
b) I have no patience for one more technical thing I need to make my computer do that it will probably suck at...
