What kind of chips you like?
So many to choose from. Potato chips, corn chips, tortilla chips, shrimp chips, won ton chips, taro chips....
Lots of flavors to mix it in with. Mesquite, sour cream and onion, cheddar, Maui onion, vinegar, lime, .....
Regular, low salt, kettle cooked, thick slices, thin sliced, ridges, organic potatos, ...
Might as well thrown in the pork rinds and cheetos because they are on the same grocery shelf.

DRAH -
Yeah, I agree. Even the bad ones seem to say EAT ME.
It's like the salt and vinegar or the lime chips. Kinda like sour and weird. It's like, "Geeze. These taste strange." Crunch crunch crunch. "WTF?" "Hmmm. Yeah, these taste weird." Crunch crunch crunch.
Then, all gone.
Kinda like Snyder's Honey Mustard Pretzel Pieces. They almost stink like feet. But the same phenom happens - you try to figgure out whatcha eatin' and then they be gone.
Cheetoes - the quick-fried, crunchy kind.
Purple tortilla chips.
Kettle-fried chips.
Pork rinds. Add a sprinkle of TAPATIO!
(REAL) Maui Potato Chips - Da Best! (But aren't like they used to be)
What about them Fritos that look like little cars? The taste kinda sweet BBQ flavour. But I am looking for the Pounder bag - they come in them little dinky bags.
And the KC Masterpiece BBQ flavour. Another yum.
Pizza Pringles rock.
What ever happened to TACO FLAVOUR Doritos? They were also one of my faves, but I can't find them anywheres.
And then wash 'em all down wiff a beeeeah. Yuuuuum.

Gotta do the Funyons. Especially if you're sitting in a packed classroom (or an airplane even, or maybe a courtroom, or maybe a crowded tea room) so that everyone can share the lovely aroma!

sour cream and onion, baybeeeee . . . forget all that fancy froo-froo shite.
although shrimp chips are the BOMB diggity. one of the few snack foods i can buy with the knowledge that no-one in my household will try and eat them!
oh, and don't forget C.H.I.P.S.

Kh6kine brought up a good point. The chip bags are so small. They used to be bigger but they shrink over the years. The companies want more money and give you less. They even try to puff up the bags with more air. Those greedy bastards.

oh god. i love lay's cracker barrel cheddar chips. and there are these things called terra chips that are kinda expensive but they're so good. they're chips made from roots. like taro and sweet potato. and then i like these other chips - i forget the brand. but they're cooked in olive oil and they've got rosemary on them. yummay. and i also like ruffles sour cream and cheddar. and salt and vinegar anything is also good.
the best thing about chips is when you get down to the very bottom of the back and are left with all the little crumbs that are extra greasy and salty. down the hatch.

man, i haven't had shrimp chips in soooo long. those were good as a kid but i had to hide them from my friends when they came over because they thought i was a weirdo.
kettle chips rock tha house, especially salt and vinegar. tostido's lime chips used to kinda gross me out, so i don't eat those anymore.
i only eat bbq chips if they are baked lays. thank god for those because i hate all other forms of bbq chips.
funyuns are fun (hence the name) to gross out my boyfriend, especially on a long car ride. haha
ruffles suck ass, there's just something nasty about them that makes me wanna vomit.
pringles were meant to be tennis balls, but those are good too.
oh yeah, chili fritos. yummy.

I used shrimp chips as packing material for some fragile things that I had to ship in a box. :-] Nah. I can't diss the shrimp chips. They are tasty especially when its garnishing the Chinese chicken dishes.

Quit frontin'.
You know the Cheddar and Sour Cream Ruffles are the joint!!
Taco flavor Doritos- Now that's gangsta! That's some serious old school shit right there.
Pringles- Not even really chips, they're "crisps", but the red label original joints are solid.
Regular Ruffles with ranch dip. Mmmmmmmmmmm.
Anyone remember Won Ton Chips with the guy lifting the dumbell on the package? Old school, but still available.

There's some company from Laguna Beach that makes THE MOST amazing tortilla chips.... I can't remember what they're called, but they're delicious and I've never had anything better out of a bag.

Dirt Bike. Bastard! I was gonna name ~my~ kid dirt bike. Now i'll just have to go with George W. I had a friend named Ted Yu in high school - in our wisdom and 15 year old humor - we thought it was funny that he was going to name his kid Phuc.

falcor mentioned the crumbs. YES! Here's a batchelor/ghetto recipe for CHICKEN - ya know, i did this more than once, and it is quite tasty, altho a bit scary:
You have these raw chicken pieces, but have no Shake-n-Bake or cornflakes, or bread crumbs - SOooooo, you just get your bag of anykine chips, expecially the BBQ or other fave flavour, and roll them chix pieces up in them crumbs.
Then bake as usual.
As that old Alka-Seltzer commercial went, "Try it, you'll like it."
CHIPS the show - oh man, that's pretty oldy-mouldy. I kinda liked EMERGENCY! better. Almost wanted to become a paramedic once when i was a kid.
Speaking of names for kids, well, here's one, but for a dog. I always wanted a dog named DEVO. He'd be like that Spuds McKinzie - a bull terrier (?)
On kid names: I always kinda think, "What would it sound like if I had to yell the name out, like when something went bad, or doing the dinnner call - - "Hey Dirt Bike - c'mere, it's time for dinna!"
Hmmmmmmm.
This name-game almost sounds like a Seinfeld scene. Seven? Soda?

Kettle chips are good, but by the time that you are done you have a layer of chip coating glued to your fingers.
Anybody ever put your chips into your sandwich? I was just enjoying it over at Subway, that extra crunch is so good.

i also love cape cod- sea salt and vinegar, and the wise brand cheese curls. i put them in the fridge or freezer first. i likem cold. anyone notice that there's always that one chip in a bag of chips that's especially yummy? and as you keep eating from that bag, you hope and pray for another of its kind....or am i insane?

Them boys is tasty, worth the hunt!!
Anybody have the Black Pepper potato chips? Yumm.
Tims Cascade brand chips, awesome, their Cajun and their Jalapeno chips are HOT!! But my favorite of theirs is the Parmesan and Garlic.
I don't like the hard style chips, and most ridged chips I'm not a fan of, but their is something about Ruffles I like to revisit occassionally!
I can think of certain brands I don't like, certain flavors, but I can not think of any chip that I would completely avoid! No potato, corn, taro, exotics, etc, chips is just good food.
And C*H*i*Ps the TV show is such great enntertainment, considering how truly awful it is!! One of my favorite bad shows of all time!! A bag of chips, and an episode of C*H*i*Ps I'm happy as I harm my mental and physical self!
nothing beats cheetos......I've been a voracious hot cheetos eater, but lately I've found myself opting more and more for regular cheetos when I find myself in the chip aisle.
next is kettle chips and the asian fried shrimp chips.

are you talking about the brown rice sweet chili chips? THOSE ARE SO GOOD!
also i found a recipe for buffalo chicken dip that sounds disgusting...ly (maybe) great?
2 (8 oz.) packages cream cheese
2-3 stalks celery, thinly sliced
1 bottle ranch dressing (I like 1/2 bleu cheese, 1/2 ranch) -- these are not the gargantuan-sized bottles, just "normal" sized (don't know oz., though)
3-4 oz. bottle of Red Hot sauce (yes, the whole thing)
3-4 cooked chicken breasts, shredded
Pepper Jack or Monterey Jack cheese, copious amounts, shredded
Saute the celery in a tiny amount of butter or olive oil until soft and translucent. Add cream cheese and dressing and heat and stir until smooth. Mix together with the chicken and Red Hot sauce and pour into a 9x13 casserole dish. Top with shredded cheese and bake at 350* for 20-30 minutes until thoroughly hot and bubbly.
Serve with tortilla chips, celery, etc.
