These are bands they have not broken up, have released an album of new material in the past five years, and have toured playing new material in the past five years.

1. New Order
2. The Strokes
3. The Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeahs
4. Yo Lo tengo
5. The Kills

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs recently replaced Zwan for me.
There are a bunch of bands out there I have heard that I really like, I just don't know their names. *Sigh*

and you?

06-30-2003, 05:56 PM
1. Tindersticks
2. Primal Scream (the old stuff, but it's still a valid choice, right?)
3. Belle & Sebastian
4. The Avalanches
5. Kevin Rowland

I think.... At least tonight.

I'm sorry. I haven't listened to my dexy's albums in a while... Maybe I should take a dexy's day tomorrow. I'll let you know if I find it.

Sorry, randall. I have failed you. I didn't find the song you were looking for. It's hard to stay focused on the lyrics for so long :(

yo Tarasitah-

I almost posted the exact same list. creepy.

Tag Eyedea & Abilities onto Atmosphere (that's fair, right?), swap the Pizzicato Five for Nada Surf and we are like carbon copies.

I guess I might bump Eels for Hun Huur Tuu. Too hard.

hahah, you would want to hear the one band i made up!

i was trying to think of a fifth band, and couldn't, and thought of a name for a band that would surely be in my top five if it existed, hence, the rubber duckies
