I got my gas as soon as I heard about the attacks. I got my gas at 9:30-10:00 am. I only paid $1.58 for my gas. I'm a thinker and a fisherman.

thankfully gas prices haven't gotten out of control in most places around here...i got gas today @ 1pm and only paid $1.69. alot of the news stations out here got on all the gas stations that were charging folks $5.00. anyway, keep your tanks full people, no matter how much you have to pay cuz you just never know...

I heard from my this from my parents that live in cleveland: police were actually directing people away from gas stations that were illegally jacking up prices to take advantage (like $5.00 a gallon!) of panicky people. go cleveland po po...
dont fall for this shit...turn those fuckers in!

it's still 1.55 here. just a scare. and gas stations taking advantage of it. they may go up a bit, but they shouldn't yet. maybe people will get some use of their y2k stashes after all.

whats even more fucked up that a fed judge rejected a request to reverse the increase, when there was evidence of the MTA hiding mad cash.

AAA INTRODUCES LOCATOR FOR CHEAP GAS PRICES (http://cbs5.com/localwire/localfsnews/bcn/2005/06/17/n/HeadlineNews/GAS-FINDER/resources_bcn_html)
Bay Area commuters now have a way to find the cheapest gas prices in their neighborhood and across the country, AAA of Northern California announced Thursday.

The AAA Fuel Price Finder Web site allows commuters to find the cheapest gas stations near their homes or workplaces by simply entering a ZIP code, Sean Comey, AAA spokesman, reported.

Users can choose gas stations within a three-, five-, or 10-mile radius from a given area.

Data from more than 85,000 gas stations across the nation were used to compile the finder, according to Comey, and the site "uses a steady stream of reliable data.''

"Prices can vary significantly among stations that are less than a mile apart. So why not go where you get the most for your money?'' Comey asked in a statement.

The AAA Fuel Price Finder is available online at http://www.aaa.com/gasprices.
