I just visited. I was gonna move back but my friends in Seattle were offering free rent til I found a job so that was hard to refuse. Jobs are thin though. I should just work at Jack in the Box.hahaha

the other day i ate JIB for dinner, which i try not to do cause i am a little overweight as it is. but anyway, i was dying after work. i NEEDED food. so off to JIB. ultimate cheeseburger (no mayo) combo and an eggroll too. and like usual after i eat JIB, my stomach is as full as it can possibly be, and it feels like there is a giant vat of grease down in there. by the time i get home, my stomach is back to normal, well normal enough to smoke myself out at least. so i smoke my stuff, feelin nice... munchies... can you believe this shit! i just stuffed my damn face full of JIB happy heart attack treats, and now i have the damn munchies!

Had a number 5 yesterday with reg fries and a coke. The JIB in Des Moines, Wa (not IA) was quiet and their service was slow. I didnt care but the Saab behind me in the drive thru overheated. The beach was less than a quarter mile away so I drove up and ate my food looking at all the boats in the water.

oh, being so close to halloween reminds me of a story. last year on halloween i had gone to a costume party using my orange jumpsuit (which at the time still had arms). i went as a convict (cuz they wear orange jumpsuits, don't they?) and my friend dressed up like ed norton jr./brad pitt in fight club (cut a shirt in half, fake bruises everywhere, briefcase with soap + bag o fat). anyway, party ends and we decide to get some eats. we were less than 100yds. to JIB, so we legged it. the thing is, its 2am and the inside of the JIB is closed, and there's a line of cars waiting for the drivethru. we spy a silver jetta with 2 kinda cute gals in it and we ask them if they can take our order. they agree. then we ask them if we can sit in their car because its oh so cold out here. so these two completely strange girls let a guy dressed like a convict and a dude that looks like he got beat up into their car. then we got a ride back to our friend's apt. where the party was. they were willing to drive us home, but that would've meant me leaving my car on the other side of town.

that is my JIB halloween story.

I think you have to be like Eddie Murphy 'Raw' and make a 'house burger'. All you need is sourdough bread, meat, swiss cheese, bacon, mayo and tomato. Also you probably need a little oil or butter for grilling the bread. From the way it looks, you cook the meat, put the burger together and grill the whole thing until the bread is golden brown.
