I swear I don't read Maxim. :o

I guess New York's pretty much a pussy ass town now, along with, I dunno, Philly and Newark and Camden etc.? Well, New York IS kind of a pussy ass town now.

B-more's in about the right place. NO-LA should be up there.

11-07-2007, 02:55 PM
yeah i didn't know that Maxim was the "go-to" guide for crime
now for pics of Kim Kardashian's ass - YES!

Yea not one mention of Dodge City Kansas, been whuppin ass since the days of Wyatt Earp!! They still rougher than hell out there.

milwuakee cause they don't eat fruit...seattle because there are a lot of kung fu studios...this list is just plain silly!

i like how the tattoo parlors and kung fu studios are an indication of toughness. talk about stuck in the 70s.

maxim is like cosmo for frat boys

11-07-2007, 05:14 PM
All of the lads' mags except for Maxim have folded.

11-07-2007, 05:16 PM
even details? i used to love that mag!

11-07-2007, 05:23 PM
I think Details is aimed for guys that play for the other team (isn't that one that had the "Gay or Asian?" article?). I think it's still around. The cheesecake mags aimed at frat brahs like FHM US and, last month, Stuff closed down.

11-07-2007, 07:54 PM
actually i think FHM still runs.

FHM UK is better than the US version and Maxim

just what guys needed...a magazine to make them dumber....

11-07-2007, 10:23 PM
wow there must be a drought of fresh fruit and water in Richmond, CA because there are always shootings over there...

11-07-2007, 10:44 PM
Oh I thought the print edition was going under... Thank god for cheese cake.

11-07-2007, 11:16 PM
i think it's more accurate to say that Details is like cosmo for frat boys. that is, frat boys that have something else in the closet other than a rack full of A&F clothes.

anyways, i think i read somewhere that Maxim has more subscribers than Playboy. but i don't think Hef is worried..

Their criteria is dumb. The more kung fu studios you have per capita, the more pussified your city is.

In comparing subscription prices, I think Maxim is only like $10 or $15 dollars a year compared to the relatively steeper price of Playboy. So, lots of poor horny males are priced out of Hefner's league. They have to settle for the 'witty' banter of Maxim's writers.

I once inherited a 3-year accumulated stack of Maxims from an old roommate. I ended up giving them to my other (seedier) roommates. :D
