does anyone here actually own guns and shoot them at ranges? I inherited two handguns, I forget what kind...Smith and Wesson .45 and something else I think? Anyway, I don't keep them nearby.

I used to like to go out and shoot my step-dads .45 caliber out in the woods when I lived in Montana.

even after reading up on it i still cant figure out how the magazine works and what not
theres also an interesting variation of this in the manga for Ghost in the Shell. Masamune Shirow has some of the most well thought out mecha designs out there..

Ever since I had a 12 gauge shot gun pointed at me during a heated lsd induced argument concerning Kant's critique of pure reason - i refuse to purchase a fire arm.

As I realized at that moment...

Sure, I own guns. The shooting and 'smithing of firearms is a fun (but expensive) hobby. How can you not like things that make loud noises, belch fire and blow shit up?

I mainly collect US military arms from WW2 but also have more contemporary guns that I blast with. I don't go to formal target ranges as much as I used to--most of my shooting is now done in the desert, when we go out looking for ghost towns and abandoned mining operations.

The FAMAS posted at the top of the page is actually a lame gun. Most bullpup designs tend to be poor performers.

can u go into more detail as to why? i know next to nothign when it comes to guns..as far as iknow, the bull pup design allows the barrel to be longer (?) and therefore ..what? *shrugs*
