Further evidence of Apple's stagnation--they're following Microsoft's UI design direction and not the other way around. I recently got a look at the dashboard currently used on the Xbox 360 and it's a vast improvement over what was being used before. At one point, when I had both a 360 and PS3, I tried to avoid using the 360 for playing media whenever I could because the "blades" interface was so offensive. Now it's pretty good and I'd probably choose it over the PS3 if I still owned one.
