Here's one of my favorite tunes by my old band. It's a rough mix thrown up for the web.

sorry to disagree, but i gotta be honest frog - that tune just didnt do anything for me. i guess i just don't get into that kind of indie-rock sound that much. i liked the name though..

here's 2 short loops - same track, with and without bassline - that Akuma was kind enough to host for me:

I don't just do 2-step though - watch this space.

recent strange odd and ends:

shariah (pb010202mx)

(which is another treatment of the source drum loops used earlier in weather (pb010202mx), among others.)

results of listening to too much public radio:

willy (KPFA_Radclif_mx)

shariah - this is nice - i like the use of (what sounds like) the 808 clave in there.

willy - incredibly annoying, but i think you knew that

you can hear some of my music here -

some interesting stuff you got going...
i'm diggin the bass line on 'freestyle' though don't make much of the lyrics.
the drums and flavor of 'pluralistic ignorance' are fresh but the mixdown is horribly muddy. some cool things going on in the 'another day' like the p-funk bass lick and tribal percussion but it gets a bit messy with it's path.

some mixes i did recently of some friends. a couple old tunes that needed re-working... more conventional pop-style than my own music, but it's fun sometimes i think to just work on the mixing/production aspect of someone elses stuff...

Suburban Shade (by Ted)

Tarantism (by Charlie Chomsky)
