I only just watched the movie again on video over the weekend!

I saw it in the cinema about a year ago, and it was good to see it again. Yes, the movie IS quite possibly the most ridiculous movie ever made, but I still laughed at some bits (even though it felt like a guilty pleasure).

The show format suits the humour much better though.

A question for the Americans - do you think his material translates well in the states? My friends here love(d) Ali G, so I was wondering if it has the same effect over there?

I played a tape of the his US HBO special and everyone was rolling in 10 minutes. That was more than 2 weeks ago and I still get asked if he's done other episodes.

Looking forward to more of his stuff.

I only saw one episode so far and I loved it he was so funny I guess he was interviewing nute gingrindge and some other politicians like the DEA guy, what can I say I'm an Ali G fan even the part about ice cream gloves was lame but still funny.

i love ali g......my memory is really bad and i don't remember who he was interviewing but the guy was talking about ounces and grams and ali kept trying to shoosh the guy from giving too much detail on air so they could make a deal off air (did i get that right???).............anyway, it was damn funny aiiiiiiight.
