Bobcats acquire No. 2 overall pick from Clippers

The Charlotte Bobcats swapped first-round draft choices with the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday, giving the NBA's newest franchise a chance to select Dwight Howard or Emeka Okafor with the No. 2 overall pick.

Charlotte sent the No. 4 overall pick, along with a second-round selection (No. 33 overall), to Los Angeles for the No. 2 choice. The Bobcats also agreed to select Clippers center Predrag Drobnjak in Tuesday's expansion draft.

oh man...kobe stay away is what i'm saying...too bad skip went off to toronto...i really think he was the missing piece they sorely needed. i like jaric last year...he started out slowly, but over the course of the season got better and better at controlling the ball.

speaking of turnovers...q and maggette are pretty horrible passing the rock at times.

nash would've been interesting, but not for the cash that he got from phoenix...to damn pricey. i hadn't heard much of livingston, but it sounds like he could be a good prospect. considering the clips and their knack for players getting on the irl, i'm sure he'll find himself with a lot of minutes. should be good for him.

bring back d. and re-sign q.

you can help but wonder how long it's going to last. the team showed a lot with their fantastic come back win in chicago and followed that up with sound thumping of the raptors. the lakes are ripe for the picking.

As an avid basketball/Lakers fan. Is it considered "flip-flopping" to now give the Clippers more attention than the Lakers? Considering they are both LA teams and all.

But yeah, I've taken notice to the Clipper's nice start to this season.

clipper fan since at least 98-99. clipper/laker games are difficult since i don't want either to lose.
