Whoa, I saw Acid Mothers Temple in Detroit last month! My brother let me borrow a couple albums and I had read quite a bit about them. Mind bender of a concert. I think my ears are still ringing!

^ randall saw acid mother temple live, too i think! i was absentminded and didn't go see them when they came to LA. -_-; i have La Novia, which, like Mantra of Love, is their re-working of an Occitanian folk song. it's definately my fave album. their version of Terry Riley's In C is great, too. in addition, i have the Mainliner album, Mellow Out, which is an old album with kawaboto (sp?) and some of the other greats of japanese noise. it's not quite as good as the hype, but still guranteed to sear your ears to a crisp.
