I keep hearing that they're trying to refer to the gun as a "pellet gun" now? WTF?

it was a fucking shotgun. pellet guns fire one pellet at a time. like an air rifle.
you only get "peppered" with shot when you get shot at by a fucking SHOTGUN. a gun whose shells contain multiple pellets. THE VICE PRESIDENT SHOT SOMEBODY WITH A FUCKING SHOTGUN. wonder if he gave him both barrels. would firing both barrels at the guy bump it up to 2nd degree? hahaha

For an administration that likes "covering up" shit sooo much you'd think they'd be better at it by now.

i don't think they are revealing everything. if a pellet got into the guys heart then it seems more serious than what they said. did he get hit in an artery? in the heart?

Seriously...
If Wittington dies from his injuries + heart attack, how could Cheney continue to remain in office? I'd say this is at least as character damning as Chappaquiddick.. But then again, as Maureen Dowd quipped in the Times today, Cheney IS the administration.. He'd sooner make W take the fall then ever step down himself.. |

google news: Cheney's hunting host lobbied White House
MSNBC - 18 hours ago ... incident. "There may be a beer or two in there," she said, "but remember not everyone in the party was shooting.". Armstrong ... actual msnbc article sans beer reference. stolen from ats.

Maybe one of a few former Soviet republics anyway... Hmmmm... Seriously, if he gets away with accidental manslaughter with no charges at all... And the thing is, I have a feeling that that 78yr old Texas lawyer is a world-class prick who just might have had such a thing coming.. Maybe its not for me to say, but guys like that don't get to be where they are by being St Francis. And generally, I pretty much hate lawyers. And republicans. And especially republican lawyers. What a fucking weird week this has been. |

does it really matter? he's the vice president. he can get away with it; whether it was an accident or not.

Apparently I have been living in denial. I thought that politicians were accountable under the law.
Now I know that there is no such thing as the rule of law anymore in the US. I might as well be living under the rule of Nazarbaev in Kazakhstan. |
