Then there are cult movies. Flicks like Rocky Horror Picture Show, Eraserhead, and Pink Flamingos are still in the cultural vocabulary only because the same cult members see them over and over again. These movies are not worth staying up past midnight for. I should know because I've seen all of them at least twice. TV shows (like Star Trek) and certain clothing designers (like Bathing Ape or Tommy Hilfiger) are only some of the other common recipients of cult-like dedication.

SERVE THE KOOL-AID

Chances are, you belong to at least one cult, and that's fine. Cults can be good.

Cults can supply a sense of acceptance, approval, and purpose. Young, old, rich, or poor--all people share these needs but very few get them. And of course you want to surround yourself with the things that appeal to you aesthetically, intellectually, or spiritually.
SUPERTOUCH

Is it a soap opera, a sports team, or a blended drink at Starbucks that makes your life complete? Or better yet, maybe it's you? Making yourself into a cult leader isn't really so hard when everyone else is looking for something or someone to follow.
