The GR interview with Prodip from Lazy Muthafucka

GR: Is it difficult getting all of you guys together?
PL: Most of the time only those interested in playing Winning Eleven on PlayStation will be at the studio every night. But musically we work well together and all ideas are shared and appreciated.

GR: Do you compare your music compare to American rap?
PL: Of course not. American rap is the original rap. I think we are more influenced by kinds of music including heavy metal, hardcore, and rap. Lyrically, we face many challenges since our music has never been made before in HK.

GR: What are some common themes that you sing about?
PL: Our songs are mostly about real life and the society around us.

GR: Can you talk about your metal years? Was there a crew of bands? A common look?
PL: You mean when we were young and happy! Back then there were Anodize, Zig Zag, V Turbo, Black Church, and Asylum. The look was like Metallica.

GR: Where has LMF toured? Where are the best shows?
PL: We've been to China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Korea, and Australia. We loved all our tours. The audiences are great... Anywhere is better than HK!

GR: Is there an independent music scene in HK now? What do you listen to?
PL: Yeah, there's an independent scene but...

GR: Do you meet a lot of posers?
PL: I can usually manage to stay away from those people.
