6 different variants for this adorable dino gel pen! This listing is for one randomly selected variation pictured.
Gel pen uses a gel-based ink, combining the permanence of oil-based ballpoint ink and the smooth glide of water-based ink, in which pigment is suspended in a water-based gel. Gel ink is thick and opaque, it shows up more clearly on dark or slick surfaces than the typical inks used in ballpoint or felt tip pens.
Gel pens can be used for varies types of writing and illustration. Fine-tip gel pens let you fit more writing onto every page and card. They make your handwriting neater by creating sharper, more consistent lines. As they don’t put as much ink on the page as broader pens, they dry faster and are less prone to smudging.

Plants and Flowers Show - Amy Matsushita-Beal - "To Lie with Lent Lily" (B)
Risograph print. Piece is unframed.
Artwork measures 8 x 10 inches.
Note from the artist: Lent Lily is another term for wild daffodils. The latin name is Narcissus, possibly based on the Greek God of the same name who became enraptured in his own reflection- I did play with that idea with the two figures almost-mirroring poses, but the ultimate idea is more about two separate people being entranced by each other in a field of daffodils that seem to blend together to the background when compared to how they look at each other.
This piece is part of the group exhibition Plants and Flowers: Our 4th Annual Green-Life Themed Art Exhibition at Giant Robot Store running from September 18th, 2021 - October 15th, 2021.
In-Person Viewing is now available at Giant Robot Store, Wednesdays - Sundays 12:00 pm - 6:00pm.
