This print was acquired from the New York MTA. These were previously rolled and handled as subway posters so there are some small condition issues.
Takashi Murakami is one of the founding members of the Superflat movement whose pop art work has been exhibited around the world. His Kaikai Kiki workshop has spawned many younger talented artists including Aya Takano and Chiho Aoshima. This particular print is from his 2001 Grand Central Terminal Exhibit which featured massive helium balloon figures.
