Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County First Friday Featuring Giant Robot

Before any words, a great thanks to the Natural History Museum of LA County for both hosting Giant Robot, The Giant Robot Documentary, and the short film LA At Play (See it here). These events always feel like a once in a lifetime event. A location which houses dinosaurs seems like an unlikely match, but alas, are we dinosaurs? Is that the message? We hope not! But magazines? Maybe so!

The evening started with a panel. It started before the documentary.

The image set is here.

The panelists are on the stage maybe about to start, Rene Tajima Pena, Martin Wong, Eric Nakamura, James jean, and Dylan Robertson are hanging out.

A giant group photo in front of a dinosaur. What can be more appropriate. This took place towards the end of the evening. We thank all who were involved at the NHMLA. It's amazing to see the care put in to create a massive event that's eternally (or almost!) memorable.

We also had a pop up shop which ran out of merch! We couldn't have predicted how well things went, and we hope we can do this again.

Thanks Cassia Lupo who troopered the booth.
Giant Robot panel discussions especially focusing on the past doesn't happen much, but when they do, they're often enjoyable.
