Giant Robot presents a book event with author Ed Lin celebrating his latest novel The Dead Can’t Make a Living. The event will take place on Friday, May 15 at 7:00pm at Giant Robot in Los Angeles (the new gallery space at 2017 Sawtelle Blvd next to Giant Robot Store)

The Dead Can’t Make a Living continues Lin’s acclaimed series, blending crime fiction with observations of culture, identity, and contemporary life. Lin, a three time Asian American Literary Award winner, is known for his compelling storytelling and richly drawn characters.

Jeff Schroeder, a Los Angeles based musician and former member of The Smashing Pumpkins, brings a unique perspective to the conversation, with a background in both music and academia.
