Mountain Ghosts

“Mountain Ghosts” is what snow leopards are called by locals who share their habitat. They do what they can to survive in Mongolia, China, India, Pakistan and Tajikistan. Their numbers have been dwindling for decades, but two separate dens have been found and footage of a mother with her cubs has been recorded for the first time ever.

Hopes are, that this video will help remind people that the snow leopards need help to survive in the wild. Less than 4,000 are left in the wild with continued poaching and a dwindling habitat. Maybe these cubs will make it with some human help out there in the mountains. Hopefully they won’t need armed bodyguards to follow them all over like the 4 of the 8 remaining Northern white rhinos.
