But this one too. Why Is the San Diego, Hawaii, and now this Austin film fest literally on the same dates? All three open on the same dates! In a world that's small enough, especially if you're a filmmaker, now you need to have three prints, if you think you can get into all three festivals!
Giant Robot is proud to sponsor The Austin Asian American Film Festival. AAAFF will be held on October 9-12th, 2008 at the Alamo Drafthouse. Over 40 films (all premieres) from all around the globe will be screened with a focus on Chinese and Chinese American cinema. Come join us at the Opening Night Party at Arthouse Museum, a multimedia concert at Club de Ville, and a discussion panel at the University of Texas.
