I think I'm voting to just send it in as is. The outer space idea is neat, but may also upset the alien gods. Marking it with a brand? That's got graf all over it. If that happens then, I guess that's alright, but that'll mean Ecko is also placing his name or imprint on the ball as well and that's maybe not right if it's going to Cooperstown. Either way, A Rod will probably break it in ten years or less...
