This basically means that the dollar is weak in Japan, thus preventing imports and tourism. The typical 110 to a dollar is far off. Sad times when an epic disaster that’s somewhat on par with 9/11 gets used in a chant against someone else in sports. Imagine if it were a 9/11 pun, would anyone in America stand for it? The soccer match was actually halted which is a miracle, but the damage was done. To be helpful in understanding, isn’t Van Damme from Belgium? Ah, that makes sense! It’s awesome that there’s help in Japan, but not awesome when there’s the late apologizing, radiation in rice, and the continuing gloomy news, yet there’s some help who’s in Japan cleaning up photos. They’re doing other things too, but they’ve so far cleaned up 55,000 photos and they have worldwide help to do the work. Imagine a world of Photoshop experts are able to help from  home. The idea of why clean up photos is obvious. In a place where many lost everything, the memories that live on through a single photo is all they may have. (NPR – Tsunami Photos)
