It’s drawings like this that makes a lot of things ok. What’s the thing to the left of “viva”? Is it a bottle of water? Does this have anything to do with us though? I dig the peanut snow man and the fruit. This whole thing is cool. We’ll be at SD Comicon this weekend, and we’re at booth 1729. It’s near the middle and it’s the spot we’re always at, across from our pals at Top Shelf comics. Come by, say hi, introduce yourself. We may not always act shy, since we can’t be at a convention, but we’re pretty awkward. See you there.

So after a lot of work, 49 is at the shop. It felt like a double issue was being made. This one is packed to the gills with a lot to read. It’s not thicker, but it’s just one of those issues when many things come together all at once. Some things didn’t come through too, and maybe there’s where the extra space came from. The good part of this issue is that in that scramble / struggle to make everything happen, we had more fun. Go figure that’s how it works sometimes. But now that 49 is done, issue 50 is upcoming. What should we do for issue 50? Is it just another issue? Is it special? We’re going to have to figure it out and make you something fun to read and keep.

Got a sample of the Tekkonkinkreet all in one, thicker, cooler, better, this is a must get when it comes out in September. I won’t tell you how awesome this is and it’s great to be part of it. I have a quote in the back of the book and on the DVD. Watch for GR49, there’s some Tekkonkinkreet in there too. GR49 is going to be a hot issue.
