Giant Robot Store and GR2 News

That's Jillian Tamaki. I interviewed her today as a part of her panel discussion. She was invited to Comic Con by Comic Con which is the ultimate honor and her panel was today. I didn't know enough about her to be honest, but I worked it as much as I could. She speaks confident and strongly and it made my job easy. I just asked a few questions and then opened it up to audience questions. She does have a new book with Drawn and Quarterly that's a mix between art and quick comics. I also missed the eye socket stabbing that happened today at a panel discussion, but it sounds scary that a person would stab another in the eye with a pen. KNAC's DJ Will digs Comic Con. The vest he's wearing is well over 20 years old. Here he's holding a Little Bony!

I told her that she was even better than the gender-bending Harry Potters, which I also like and haven't seen much of this year. And, then there were more friends and artists and others… Some repeats from last year and some even from yesterday or the day before!

David Choe's Munko Whales brought people out. Signing number two comes up later today. Here's some images of Munko's first signing. I think David was half asleep. He also signed a bunch of his new book. Comic Con brings everyone out. I'm thankful and he does it again today. The booth is looking good meanwhile and we have David Horvath tomorrow.

If you don't attend panels or shop and just hang out at your booth, Comic-Cons can start to blur together. Especially because you see a lot familiar faces of friends who come by. I'm sure if you compare some of the ones I'm about to share with the ones from last year, there's some overlap.
