KAWS in the New York Times. Congrats on the gallery stuff, Mr Kaws! It was a matter of time, that the focus on products with the biggest companies, etc would give way to him being a gallery artist. He’s had very few shows all over the world, and it’s time for him to get his works out there. Unfortunately, a lot will go to straight to the “collectors” since his pricing will be what they should be. After spotting this in the lounge, I can't say if I'm mad or glad. I like Ramen. But The Ramen Girl is the girl who bathed in ramen in a previous issue of GR more than a decade ago. The ramen girl is not caucasian and starred in Clueless. The ramen girl is Asian and did it all to win a contest and therefore became THE RAMEN GIRL. Nude in a bathtub of ramen vs a girl going to Japan, getting dissed,...
After spotting this in the lounge, I can’t say if I’m mad or glad. I like Ramen. But The Ramen Girl is the girl who bathed in ramen in a previous issue of GR more than a decade ago. Nude in a bathtub of ramen vs a girl going to Japan, getting dissed, learning to make ramen from a master and being in a parade. I wonder what happens? Although it gets out it's own ways sort of, I actually made a video last night. Edited etc. It's for the Suggestion Box art exhibition at GR2. But at the same time, GRNY helper Jimmy! put together a video for the Crocodile Tears art show. If you watch the beginning what is manager Cheryl doing? That looks really odd.
