Bootleggers in China Now Filling Nice Bottles with Junk Wine

Say it isn’t so?! It’s wine, it’s valuable, it’s not from China and it could be bootleg. Imagine, just a few years ago, wine in China wasn’t non existent. Yet now, the tastes of the rich ballers are now shifting to the fine valuable drinks that actually will work with some of their cuisine. Imagine the pork, cattle, and even seafood that China has access to. The reds and whites from around the world will pair, yet the highest end wines could be a fake. Empty bottles are easily collected, labels printed, and wine from Trader Joe’s poured right in. Sad but true. Bootlegging and making a few dollars has no limits. (LA Times – Wine Fakers)
