Giant Robot Store and GR2 News
How can anyone ever get tired of seeing these? This is another Smithsonian spot. Air and Space Museum is amazing. I had an hour or less to kill, so why not just walk around in here. Although some of these have to be repros, many look definitely space tested. The history of our space travel is outlined here, but the bigger story is looking at how cheap some of this stuff looks. Either way, at Reagan airport, the gate area from where I was leaving had this display of posters that went around in a circle. Of course they repeated, but I think I photographed them all. IBM might be hard to find these days, but these posters are done right. Great graphics that make a fine study of how colors react to and with each other.
