This is my boy, Prodip’s passion project and first film. Directed by our good friend John who also helped direct our performance at the Hong Kong Film Awards last year, this film tells you everything you want to know about the UFO phenomena. Prodip’s an expert so you better get your hand on this dvd soon! I think some dvd’s come with this awesome alien figure designed by Prodip and crafted by Michael Lau. Nice full packaged collaboration.I’m sure the Giant Robot store will be carrying it soon!

Make up man, Shu Uemura passes away at 79. He was in issue 16, I think of Giant Robot. Known for great brushes, at least that's what I heard from many, he also worked with Ai Yamaguchi and created a line of plastic bottles that were cooler than most. Read more about his passing here.

January 1st is oshogatsu, but JANM does it when they can. This year it fell on saturday. I don't know enough about community programs, etc, but this one was fun. Of course, it helps that it's crafts, and such. Working with your hands and making things is always fun.
