Honolulu Museum of Art X Giant Robot X Contempo #ArtShop Giant Robot pop up at the Honolulu Museum of Art Spalding House begins June 19th and continues for TEN days! In person will be artists Luke Chueh and Rob Sato. Special meet and greet Friday June 19th and public event Saturday June 20th. Artists included in this special exhibition includes: Aaron Woes, Ako Castuera, Albert Reyes, Amy Sol, Apak, Christine Kim, Deth P. Stories – A Group Exhibition  August 17 th – September 4th, 2013 Reception: Saturday, August 17 th, 6:30 – 10:00 p.m. GR2 2062 Sawtelle Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90025 gr2.net (310) 445-9276 Giant Robot is proud to present Stories, an art show featuring new works by Edwin Ushiro, Jen Tong, Jeni Yang, Martin Hsu, Sean Chao and Tessar Lo. The commonality of the artists is simply that they’re operating in a similar art environment although they’re located in different parts of North America. Edwin Ushiro, originally from Hawaii draws sublime imagery that often appear dark in message, yet are at times as light as can be. East Coaster, Jen Tong creates imagery that’s reminiscent of a world that’s something like Miyazaki meeting...
